Location: Fradley Park, Lichfield with occasional work at our Rugeley site
Shift: 40hours per week Monday - Friday 7:30 - 16:30 with flexibility to cover other shifts as needed. No on call requirement with the exception of emergency.
Premier Nutrition, who are part of the Ab Agri group companies owned by ABF, are a fast-paced animal pre-mix manufacturing business with two sites, one based in Rugeley and one in Lichfield (Fradley Park). At Fradley park we have state of the art pre-mix equipment with Siemens latest PLC’s using Siemens TIA portal operating software. You will be working in a friendly environment with a small but strong maintenance team and an extremely supportive operations team.
We are going through some exciting changes within the business and especially within the maintenance department with our “Everyday Excellence” ethos driving continuous improvement.
The role will be to support the Everyday Excellence strategy, look for opportunities to improve plant and equipment and react quickly to any production breakdowns. The role is offering a very competitive hourly rate commensurate with your experience

- Recognised multi-skilled apprenticeship or equivalent with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- 18th Edition IEE regulations certification
- Electrical inspection and test certification
- Demonstrable knowledge / training in PLC fault finding
- Demonstrable knowledge / training in pneumatic systems
- Positive attitude with a can do approach
