Project Manager - CCTV & Access Control [Ireland]


 

Viatech Security Systems are hiring for a highly motivated, experienced Project Manager to join our growing and successful team based in Inchicore, Dublin 12.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Physical Security Systems and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope.

They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships between our clients and the operations team.
  • Manage projects from start to finish.
  • Ability to manage in-country local service partners (LSP).
  • Good comprehension of project financial management.
  • Site assessment to include meeting with the client/GC/EC contractors.
  • Understanding of the security systems installation process.
  • Maintaining documents such as our standards documents and O&M manuals.
  • Attending project meetings as required.
  • Driving the delivery responsibilities of the general and electrical contractor.
  • Schedule our installation teams for project programmes and key dates.
  • Providing accurate monthly forecast information.
  • Identify the change order variation logs through to purchasing and final billing.
  • Ensure the integrity of subcontractor arrangements to maintain our high standards.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience working within security system installations and project deliveries.
  • An Excellent understanding of IP Security System Installations (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm systems).
  • A leadership professional with a customer-focused mindset, who appreciates a challenge and thrives on accountability & responsibility for delivering excellence.
  • A positive , energetic attitude towards their environment.
  • Full Clean driving licence is required.
  • Valid Passport is required due to our clients plans to expand across the EMEA region.
  • Excellent time management.
  • IT proficiency , including software such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • The ability to self-improve and learn new systems & processes.
  • Excellent communication and literacy skills.
  • An understanding of operational requirements and how they relate to project delivery.
  • Competency in budget control and a strategic approach to margin protection.
  • Ability to demonstrate a technician aptitude and able to understand schematics, connection diagrams and layout drawings.

The successful candidate will be provided with a Company Vehicle, Mobile Phone and Laptop.
